A Trip to Pondicherry

Travelling is the most soul satisfying thing for me. When I travel and look around I have gained experience and made memories. 

Things make you look rich and experience enriches you. Things can be taken but experience can be shared. Things can be lost and broken and stolen  but experiences would stay forever. Things would make you lazy and experience will make you wise.

The thing about things is, it can only be looked at. And the thing about experience it has a long lasting effect on your inner self.


Travel by Bus over Cab=More Exploration
So one fine weekend me and my dear friend decided to explore Pondicherry. We chose bus over cab for travelling as it was cheaper and more comfortable. Also it gave us a more occasions to interact with the locals and more chances to explore on foot. Always sitting in the cab can actually make your trip appear virtual. Exploring the city by local transport and on foot gives you much better travel experience.

Ocean=Infinity=Beauty=Treat to Soul and Eyes
My favorite  form of relaxation is staring into the infinity. My eyes are  relaxed and so is my brain. The limitless sky and the ocean merge to gives the glimpse of infinity. Beautiful beaches at pondicherry were treat to my eyes. The tranquility of the sea and the music of waves gave me an out of world of experience. The strong waves hugged and kissed the shores and left it every single time.

The mighty waves hit the Shore.
Hugged it and Kissed it
And then it went back
Waves taught me life is dynamic
You cannot hold to anything or anyone permanently
The dynamic and strong waves left the shore wet
The shore absorbed a part of waves
And the waves took sands of the beach with it
Neither the shore nor the waves stayed together
Yet they transformed each other
Yet they were absorbed by each other
The same way we meet people
touch their lives and are transformed by them.



The wild powerful waves created a music
Pleasant to my ears
It created a sight ecstatic to my eyes
It created a story
provoking my thoughts
A time imprinted on my brain
An experience etched to my heart
A moment I can always cherish

Pondicherry=Street Shoppers paradise
Shopping on streets is an awesome experience here. I got branded and trendy stuffs for cheap rates.
I got lovely decorative pieces for home at very small price. Then I got lovely pieces of jwellery.
Street shops are always full of zeal and varieties.

Realisation hits a lonely soul

So I came to a new country last week to settle for a year. The office remains almost same as in India, a little less facilities may be e.g. no free coffee vending machines. Singapore it is. I was excited about this. I always wanted to settle into a new country on my own. I always wanted to see the life abroad.  I was super excited.  I was earning and saving decent in India and had a higher paying job offer, and many close friends there. So I wanted to meet my dearest college friend Soni. We were close in college and became closer at our first workplace. We were at the same location for training. Then we we moved to different companies and then different cities. So we had hardly met in last few years, yet the modern day technology kept us close through phones and social media. It was end of the year and both of us wanted a break from routine life. Besides sharing each others secret, we do share common interest in travelling. She lived in Gurgaon and I lived in Bangalore.
